I've been working with Python in Maya for the last 2 years or so, and I've made many tools for simplifying daily Maya related work - for myself and for the team. I've learnt Python on my own - Mostly I've explored python concepts on a need-to-know basis, based on the current tool that I am working on. Which in short means I donot know much about python.
I have come across the python term "yield" in many places, especially when google sends me to stackoverflow. Yield is a concept which I have never really understood. Can anyone explain yield in simple terms please? If you included Maya examples in your explanation, that would help me understand it better, and I think so would many TDs / maya-python-scripters like me !
